“In mid-December of 2013, I realized that I’d accomplished something kinda special…that I had one or more gigs already booked for every month of the following year, 2014. The same thing happened the next year. It occurred to me that many of my musician friends had trouble getting venues to give them the time of day, much less book their band. The next thought I had was, “I bet some of my musician friends would like to know how I did this.” If that turned out to be true, surely there are other musicians that would like to hear (or read) my story. This book is about how it happened. It’s also about how I’ve been able to keep my gig calendar as full as I want.”
